RÉSUMÉ
Peter Ettrup Larsen is an internationally renowned, Danish conductor. Larsen’s repertoire ranges from the classical symphonic repertoire over opera and ballet to the more rhythmical genres.

Parallel tracking his active conducting career, Larsen has always devoted part of his time to teaching his trade. He frequently gives master classes all over the world, and held a position as tenured faculty at The Sibelius Academy, Finland (2010-2016).
​
Larsen graduated in conducting from The Sibelius Academy (1993) and later, as the first conductor ever, obtained a doctoral degree in symphonic conducting from the same institution (2015.) He also has a diploma (M.A.) in clarinet playing from The Royal Danish Academy of Music (1991) and a master’s degree in musicology and rhetoric from The University of Copenhagen (1994.)

Larsen has published both books and compositions and has recorded CDs with a wide range of Danish orchestras.
Larsen regularly performs as a chamber musician himself on both piano and clarinet and is in addition also a sought-after inspirational speaker in the business community on subjects such as Musical Communication and Body Language.
